PACURH Description:
PACURH: Pacific Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls
The PACURH region operates under NACURH: National Association of College and University Residence Halls. NACURH is the largest student led organization in the world. The PACURH region includes affiliated schools from: California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, Canada and British Columbia.
PACURH Conference:
The PACURH conference is the largest in the western region of NACURH. It is about student leadership in residence halls and the various aspects that are a part of the residential experience. Through learning and networking with students from other universities, PACURH delegate grow as leaders and incorporate change across the region. The PACURH conference is also all about school spirit. This can be in the form of chants and cheers, costumes, and spirit items. As a delegate attending the conference you will be taught to understand various aspects of SJSU’s Residential Life Program. These include the roles that RHA, NRHH, Hall Government, and RAs play. This will assist you in your networking during the conference. Most importantly, as a part of the PACURH delegation you will get a chance to form lasting friendships within your school and across the region.

Check-in days have been assigned to each resident according to their room assignment. Please see below for your check-in date.
Saturday, August 21, 2010 10am – 6pm:
1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th floors
Sunday, August 22, 2010 10am – 6pm:
2nd, 4th, and 6th floors
The check-in process takes place in the lobby of the Suites, Building C. Please remember to bring your SJSU Tower card. You will be given an access card, a key, and other important information. Once check-in is complete, you will be free to move into your room at your leisure.
You must complete the check-in process by Monday, August 23rd, 2010 at 10pm. If you are unable to check in by the deadline, please contact University Housing Services at reslifeasst@housing.sjsu.edu or call (408) 795-5621.
We suggest that you bring your own dolly to ensure a smooth and timely move in.
Parking Information
During the regular check-in periods noted above, you will be able to park in specially designated areas around the buildings with a UHS Courtesy Permit. Permits will be available from UHS staff on the day of your move-in. The permit allows you 2 hours to unload your vehicle. Please be aware that you risk being ticketed if you park outside of the specially designated areas, without the UHS Courtesy Permit, or for longer than 2 hours.
If you have applied for a Campus Village parking permit, you will be able to pick it up at the time of check-in. This table will be visible when you are checking in.
Residents who have purchased an SJSU Parking Permit through SJSU Parking Services will have their permits mailed to them (if you purchased the permits far enough in advance) or permits may be picked up at the Parking Services office in the 7th Street Garage. Any questions regarding the SJSU Parking Permits can be directed to Parking Services at (408) 924-6556.
