Why?
- To build community amongst & provide support to students in the residence halls.
How do we work?
- Each residence hall is represented in quorum by one person per 100 people living in the hall.
- Everyone is welcome to our general meetings, but each hall can only have the specified number of them to be voting members.
- Any resident may be a voting member, so long as he or she is not an RA or other para-professional staff member.
- Voting members make decisions on whether or not to approve money requests, as well as recommendations to be given to housing and other university organizations and officials on certain issues.
- All monetary decisions are voted on by quorum members (residents) not RHA Execs.
Mission Statement:
The mission of RHA is to build a united community of residents who participate & take pride in their living and learning environments.
Vision Statement:
RHA will do this by providing leadership & programming opportunities that promote diversity & community involvement.
