Minyoung Tina Kim | RHA President
mkim@housing.sjsu.edu
Hello my name is Minyoung Tina Kim! I’m studying to become a Recreation Therapist and I love being here at San Jose State University. It’s the best school ever and it has allowed me the opportunity to be the Event Coordinator for the Bricks Hall Government my first year and currently I am the President of the Joe West Hall Government. I enjoy being involved in student governments because it allows us the opportunity to challenge ourselves as people and leaders. I look forward to applying all the things I have learned so far as well as growing some more as I work as the Residence Hall Association President! Now for some random things about Tina: I like to read, dance, ride the VTA, eat chips and play with my dog Oreo! Have a fabulous summer and get ready for another awesome year with RHA!

Jessica Nguyen | RHA Vice President of Finance
jnguyen@housing.sjsu.edu
What is the point of life? Why are I am here? These are just some of
the questions that I have asked myself many times and unable to
answer. Instead of just sitting around waiting for life to begin, I
want to live life to the fullest and take every opportunity that I
can. Life is too short for “what-ifs.” I don’t want to look back and
regret anything. Being part of hall government for the past two years,
I have learned a lot. Next year as RHA Vice President of Finance, it
will be a great experience. I am excited for next semester to start, for
the next adventure in my life to begin.

“ Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” - Anais Nin
I was born and raised in New York and I moved to the small town of Tracy back in 2005. This was my first year living on campus and to get the most out of this experience I decided to join RHA. I love to meet new people because everyone you encounter in your life is unique in their own way and they bring to your life an additional perspective. I have made it a point in my life to walk away with a valuable lesson or piece of knowledge from every experience and every person I meet. Being the RHA Secretary this past year was a great way for me to leave San Jose State University with a fresh and diverse perspective of life. I am glad to continue this experience as the RHA Vice President of Communications. In this role I will be serving as the National Communications Coordinator (NCC) at all NACURH conferences as well as being the Organization’s liaison and representative to NACURH and PACURH. Some other duties will also include maintaining all correspondence between member schools. With this I look forward to meeting and working with you all next year.
